An award-winning,
and nominated as
the best unscripted entertaining TV show in Korea

The show City Angler completely shocked both the Korean audiences and the TV industry. No one expected fishing as an entertainment show concept to become a huge hit, not even a small one. However, we did achieve it with a high viewership rate over five years, propelling the broadcaster to become one of the major TV networks in Korea. This show pioneered a new genre in the Korean TV landscape: the Fishing Entertainment show.

The show was awarded a Ministerial Commendation from the Korean Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries in 2021. Additionally, it was nominated for Best Unscripted Entertainment TV Show in the 2018 Korean Baeksang TV & Art Awards, recognized for its novelty and for challenging stereotypes about fishing, thereby making it more appealing to mainstream audiences.
